CONTINÚA LA CAMPAÑA DE VACUNACIÓN ANTIGRIPAL Y SE SUMAN NUEVOS GRUPOS A LA INMUNIZACIÓN
La Municipalidad de La Costa informa que ya comenzó la segunda etapa de la campaña de vacunación antigripal 2023, la cual abarcará nuevos grupos de riesgo que fueron determinados por el ministerio de Salud de la Provincia.
Las aplicaciones, de carácter gratuito, se llevarán a cabo en todos los vacunatorios del distrito, y desde esta semana están destinadas a niños de 6 meses a 2 años, mujeres gestantes; puérperas (preferentemente antes del egreso de la maternidad); personas de 2 a 64 años con factores de riesgo; mayores de 65 años; y personas con riesgo de exposición a aves enfermas.
El objetivo de la vacuna antigripal es minimizar las complicaciones, hospitalizaciones, secuelas y muertes vinculadas a la infección por el virus influenza en la población de riesgo.
Es importante señalar que las vacunas antigripales se pueden aplicar en conjunto con cualquier dosis o refuerzo de la vacuna que previene el COVID-19. La combinación está probada y resulta segura, con lo cual no se necesita de un intervalo entre una y otra.
Al acudir al vacunatorio, se recomienda llevar carnet y libreta de vacunación, al igual que el de hijos e hijas, para completar el esquema y chequear que se tengan las dosis correspondientes a la edad.
